The Village of Loami is issuing a boil order for residents on roads east of East Street, including:

N. East Street
-
Cross Street
-
Elm Street
-
Carson Street
-
Evans Street
-
E. Center Street
Water service in this area is currently shut off temporarily while emergency crews complete repairs to a water main. Service is expected to be restored soon.
Once water service is restored, all homes on the listed roads will remain under a boil order until further notice.
During the boil order, residents are advised to:

Boil all water for at least 5 minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing dishes.

Use bottled water as an alternative when possible.
The Village will lift the boil order once testing confirms the water is safe for consumption. Updates will be posted on this website and the Village of Loami Facebook page as new information becomes available.
